What steps are involved in relocating in retirement?

Our relocation process consists of three main steps:

Plan – We hold individual meetings to establish your needs, provide free estimates, and can prepare a floor plan for your new home if required.
Perform – Our team assists with decluttering, inventorying belongings, donation deliveries, waste removal, and coordinating with professional service providers.

Position – We also ensure utilities are set up, unpack your kitchen and living areas, and arrange your belongings to make your new home feel familiar to you.

What services do you provide for downsizing my home for retirement?

Our downsizing for seniors services includes:

Decluttering and inventory management
Waste removal and donation organisation
Assistance with cleaning and maintenance
Co-ordination of styling and real estate
Help with settling in and unpacking

Can you help family members who are relocating but can't be present?

Yes, we can assist family members relocating who can’t be present by managing the preparation and staging of properties or deceased estates that need to be prepared for sale. We require a valid Power of Attorney or relevant legal documentation to co-ordinate services in homes not personally owned by our clients.

How do you help with settling in after the move?

We assist with unpacking and setting up your kitchen, living areas, bathrooms, and bedrooms to make your new home feel like home. Our team also arrange linen, books, and ornaments and ensure that all boxes and packing materials are disposed of properly.

If your parent(s) are moving into aged care and you cannot be present, let us be the one that assists them in their move into care. We will ensure everything is completed at a pace suitable for your family member and ensure they are settled into their new home.
